Micro/Nanostructure Control and Mechanical Properties of Structural Metallic Materials

Various kinds of metals and alloys, such as steels, aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, copper alloys, etc., are widely used in our society. In many cases, they are applied to structural uses for maintaining the shapes of the matters and supporting their weights. We are fundamentally studying the formation mechanisms of nano- or micro-structures, mechanisms of deformations, and correlations between microstructures and mechanical properties in structural metallic materials.
